About the book
Widower Nick Buckingham is struggling to raise his twin daughters when strange and terrifying things begin happening in their home. Voices come from empty rooms. A dark figure appears at night. Strange writing appears on walls and mirrors, and windows shatter without explanation.
Nick is being haunted. But by whom? The ghost could be connected to the tragic woman who lived there a century ago — or to his beautiful but disturbed former lover, Ivy Crowley.
Nick meets Kim Moss. Beautiful, intelligent and seemingly determined to help him put an end to the haunting, Kim becomes a welcome presence in Nick’s troubled life. But his infatuation with her blinds him to the dangers surrounding them.
As the haunting escalates and his daughters are put at risk, Nick must discover who — or what — is coming for his family. And how much he will have to sacrifice to stop it.
